How does ProBV technology product work?
BV is driven by Gardnerella vaginalis, which releases a toxin called vaginolysin. This toxin damages your vaginal lining and uses that damage to build a protective biofilm shield — which is why standard antibiotics and pH-only products often don't hold.
proBVformula® is a patented antibody fragment engineered to bind to vaginolysin and switch it off before it can cause damage. It works on two fronts: neutralising the toxin at the source, and disrupting the bacteria's ability to form its protective biofilm — while lactic acid helps support your natural vaginal pH of 4.5.
It was developed over a decade of research at Vilnius University's Institute of Biotechnology and is protected by a European patent.
Do I need a prescription?
No, HealthyV products are safe to use without a prescription. They're non-antibiotic, so there's no prescription requirement. As always, if you have any concerns or questions, we recommend consulting your doctor.
I don't know if I have BV, should I use it?
Common BV symptoms include a thin, grey or white discharge, a strong fishy odor (especially after sex), itching or irritation, and mild burning during urination. If your symptoms are mild, our intimate wash is a gentle place to start and can help you see if it makes a difference. If you're having an active BV episode, our ovules are designed for that. If you're unsure or symptoms persist, it's best to check in with your doctor for a proper diagnosis.
What are side effects?
HealthyV products are hypoallergenic, dermatologically and toxicologically tested, and free from parabens, added perfumes, and hormone-disrupting substances — so they're generally well tolerated. As with any intimate care product, mild irritation is possible in sensitive individuals. If you notice any irritation or discomfort, stop use and consult your doctor.
Can I use it daily?
Yes — the Intimate Wash is designed for daily, ongoing use and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. The ovules are different: they're a 7-night course meant for active BV symptoms, not for daily/long-term use. If BV returns, you can repeat the course.

What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right. You can cancel your order within 14 days of receipt. For hygiene reasons, this doesn't apply once an intimate care product has been opened or used — unused, unopened items can be returned within that window for a refund.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. We aim to have your order dispatched within 1-2 business days. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured in Lithuania (EU). We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. We also use a third- party testing laboratory to confirm the quality of each batch.
